Why do I need a credit card to participate?

When you sign up and make a transaction on your linked card, the RoundUp program will automatically round up each transaction you make to the nearest dollar amount. That calculated "spare change" is added to a virtual money jar. At the end of each month, that total amount of your spare change is your donation amount for the past month. We charge the linked credit card the donation amount, and the jar empties to start rounding up your purchases for the next month.

How can I link my card from my RoundUp Program?

To link a card, sign-up through http://lafop.foproundup.com Once you are signed up, log-into your account and click ‘Manage Credit Card’ in the navigation bar where you will then have the option to add/link a Visa or Mastercard credit card respectively.

How does ‘rounding up’ my transactions work?

For every purchase made with your linked card, we calculate the difference between the transaction amount and the nearest whole dollar. This difference is referred to as the 'round up.' As an example, if your transaction amounts to $1.75, the 'round up' would be $0.25."

How do I stop participating after I’ve enrolled?

If you decide you no longer want to support the LA FOP Foundation RoundUp Program, you can stop your participation by going to ‘Manage Credit Card’ in the navigation bar and clicking the ‘trash can’ icon to unlink your card(s).

Can I sign-up and link any payment card into the program?

At this time, you can only enrol with a US Visa or Mastercard Credit Card.

How can I keep track of my transaction/donation history?

You can review your transaction and round-up donation history in the 'Activity' section of your profile. Additionally, a summary of your total round-up amount will be displayed on your homepage.

How can I access a list of offers as part of my participation in the RoundUp program?

Offers are categorized and shown on the homepage of your profile, with further information on these offers shown when you click on the specific offer.

Can I use the offers without signing up to the LA FOP Foundation RoundUp Program?

To access the LA FOP Foundation RoundUp offers, you need to sign up and link a credit card. Think of them as a reward for enrolling to contribute monthly to the LA FOP Foundation.
